Good morning! Who’s up for a French breakfast?

French breakfast

Since we have some really, really cold days (and nights) in Ottawa, I thought of some nice, warm, comfort food to bright up your spirit.

Last night we watched ‘La cage aux folles’ - the 1978 movie with Ugo Tognazzi and Michel Serrault. Of all the versions, imitations, and sequels, this movie based on the 1973 French play of the same name by Jean Poiret, is the best and funniest, a fresh look at machoism and drag queens and the gay couple is absolutely superb.

So, when I woke up this morning felt I should continue the French mood with some breakfast and a touch of Francis Cabrel. Enjoy!

Coffee I don’t drink, but a tea would go very well to that breakfast.
    I like your pictures :)
